Wheaton Fire Station
To celebrate the Wheaton Fire Stations 125th anniversary they had an open house. We got to go explore the inside of the first station and take rides on the fire truck! Kaiya LOVED riding on it. We got to ride on the top, in the inside, and Kaiya and Daddy even got to ride up front right next to the driver!

The birthday girl and her first day of school
Not only is my little girl 2 years old now, she is also a big preschooler!!!
Yesterday was Kaiya's birthday, and her very first day of preschool.
We took all kinds of pictures of her first day with her new princess backback and all. Mommy was a little sad to see her go. Brandon and I both took her and she walked right in and told us goodbye. She was not scared at all. We got to come back later for snack time since it was her birthday and got to play in the gym with her afterwards. She did great. Such a big girl.
After school we went out to lunch at Red Robin. Kaiya wasnt too sure what to do when they came out singing to her, but was more than happy to eat the ice cream sundae!
Mommy and Kaiya made special birthday cupcakes and Kaiya was extra careful to put the sprinkles in all the right spots. She had to "make em perfect" :)
She opened more presents and was most excited by the view master! Loved the lincoln logs that Daddy picked out, the mermaid big girl panties, and of course was pleased to get more lipsticks!
At the end of the day we addres the number 2 train to her Precious Moments birthday train, and we even added the clown this year too!
What a fun filled day!! I can not believe how big she is, and how fast this last year went by. Seems like we were just celebrating her first birthday, and now shes two already.
Oh yeah, there are a couple new videos on the Kaiya video link.. One of her blowing out her candles the other day, and the other sooo funny! you just gotta see for yourself!

Opening presents from Memaw and Papa
Since Memaw and Papa live all the way out in Oreogn they couldnt come to Kaiyas bday. Sooo of course they bought and sent a ton of gifts for her to open.
Kaiya had soooo much fun opening the princess box to find lots of little gifts tucked inside!!As you can see she was super excited by all the fun new toys!
