A little "boo boo"

Kaiya got her first REAL "boo boo" today.
Poor thing. She was standing on the edge of the coffee table, (which I hate her doing in fear of her getting hurt) dancing and showing off to a friend we had over to visit. Anyway, she was getting so into her dance that she lost balance and BAM! hit her head of the coffee table. I think she cried more than I ever heard her cry before. That or it was just a more painful cry than I had ever heard. We couldnt find where she hurt herself at first, but eventually saw the blood coming from her eyebrow. I feel horrible for letting it happen, but I just know this is just the first of a lifetime full of "boo boos".

easter dress

So, I have been looking everywhere for the PERFECT easter dress for Miss Kaiya.
Well I think i finally found one that I like. We bought it today, and Im pretty content with my finding. Now I just need to get a sweater, shoes, and some sort of easter hat to go along with it. It cost a little bit more than I was hoping to spend, but I did manage to get it for 40% off the original price so I shouldnt complain too much.

Wheel of Fortune

Last night we had the tv on to Wheel of Fortune. I didnt realize that Kaiya would be such a fan of the show. Everytime a contestant would clap and cheer, so would Kaiya. She got right up close to the tv and would clap and yell "YAY" along with them.

never too early to potty train!

So Kaiya thinks she is a big girl and needs to sit on the potty. Shes sat on it quite a few times, and we've had three successful attempts! YAY KAIYA!
Tonight we decided we would go buy her an actual potty seat that way we dont have to hold her on the big toilet. So we decided on a potty that hooks on to the big toilet that way we wont have to deal with the mess of a stand alone potty. Kaiya got to pick which one she wanted, and of course she picked out an Elmo one. (she kind of has an Elmo obsession if you didnt already know that) We came home and of course she wanted to use it right away. We connected it to the toilet and Kaiya got right on and said she had to go. (didnt go, but tried) So we sat in the bathroom with her while she looked at a book and kept saying "no, no, go pee pee" Finally we decided that she needed to get off and be done for the night. We went to go get her jammies on and she cried and cried for her Elmo potty. We had to go back into the bathroom so that she could say bye bye to it.
Am I really ready to start potty training already???? She is only 17 months.. haha.. shell probably be potty trained before she ever learns how to walk!! Wish me luck!!

My little artist!

After seeing Kaiya's friend Lacy's artwork post I was inspired to take pictures of Kaiya's artwork as well for you all to see.She absolutly LOVES stickers of any kind and has a little book that she sticks them all into. She calls them her "sticks" its too cute. Also she loves doing dot art. Check out how good of a job she does! I will try to post more artwork as she does it! We are on artwork overload!! :) hahaha!

Kaiya and I decided we wanted to play in mommy and daddys bed tonight! She thought it was super funny to hide and laugh under all the covers. We took some pretty cute "CHEESE" pictures that I thought I would share. Everytime Daddy would get ready take a picture Kaiya would yell out "CHHEEEEEEEESEEEEE!!!"

She cracks me up! :)

So much SNOW!

We got about 8 inches of snow last night, soooooooooo... of course we had to finally take Kaiya out to play in it!! We bundled her up and took her for a sled ride!!! :)
She had a really good time.. I think anyway! Ha! Her poor little face though was soooooo red! I felt horrible.. Good thing we were only out there for like 15 minutes!
